Ingredients:


2 cups of general-purpose flour

one tablespoon of baking soda

1/2 cup melted unsalted butter and 1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar, granulated

two huge eggs

Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon

3 mashed, ripe bananas

A half-cup of sour cream

chopped walnuts, half a cup (optional)

Instructions:


Grease a loaf pan that measures 9x5 inches and preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).


Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.


Cream the butter and sugar in a sizable mixing bowl until they are light and creamy.


One at a time beat well after each addition of the eggs.


Blend the sour cream, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas thoroughly.


Mix the dry ingredients until incorporated after adding them to the wet ones. Watch out not to combine too much


Add the chopped walnuts if using.
